LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - After five years as an assistant at Monterey, Bradley Weese is the new Girls Basketball Coach at 4A Snyder.

“I’m just excited for the opportunity,” Weese said. “Snyder has a great community. I haven’t met the kids yet, but I’m really anxious about that to meet them next week and see what we have to work with. The basketball team last year made the play-offs. I’m just hoping it can take off from there.”

Weese is the son of longtime Lady Raiders Assistant Coach Linden Weese, so he has grown up seeing girls basketball played at a high level.

“I was fortunate enough to get to see firsthand how that works,” he said. “My dad is a great guy. One thing I’m definitely taking from him is the love for kids. I think that's what made him so successful at his job - his passion for student athletes.”
