3 suspects arrested after overnight robbery

Three suspects are in custody after an overnight robbery at 18th & J.

Police say the female victim was walking to her car around 2 a.m. when she was approached by three suspects. One suspect pointed a gun at her and demanded her property while the other two suspects chased off a witness. The suspects stole property from the victim and fled on foot.

A short time later, officers located all three suspects at the Hickory Tree Apartments on 16th Street. The victim's property was recovered and all three suspects were arrested.

Dominic Jerome Richardson, 21, was charged with aggravated robbery, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of firearm by felon, and organized crime.

Daytron Deon Hood, 18, was charged with aggravated robbery, possession of a stolen firearm, a felony warrant, and organized crime.

No information has been released about the third suspect, who is a juvenile.
