UMC Urges Concerned Patients To Call About Illegal Release Of Information

University Medical Center wants to hear from patients who believe their medical records were illegally released.

As NewsChannel 11 told you first on Friday, police are investigating at least four people who may be involved in releasing records for an estimated 200 patients to a physical therapy center. UMC has fired two employees, but so far no one has been arrested.

Former UMC Employees Under Investigation
NewsChannel 11 discovers a disturbing case of alleged patient solicitation. So far, University Medical Center has fired one of it's employees and police continue to investigate.
