LP&L's Electric Utility Board approved a new Request for Proposal for power generation for 2019 on Thursday.
The last RFP was tossed after questions arose about the amount of input a vendor's consultant may have had in its preparation.
The new RFP, which will be released Monday, was prepared by LP&L staff and Black & Veach.
LP&L Chief of Staff Matthew Rose, said this document is, "a lot bigger and a lot more comprehensive and it is much clearer on our objective and what we will accept in terms of bids and solutions."
