WACO, Texas (AP) - Two people have pleaded guilty to targeting dozens of U.S. post offices across Texas and stealing more than 50,000 pieces of mail.

Federal prosecutors in Waco say the couple from Temple robbed post offices, collection boxes and parcel lockers in more than 80 communities, from Midland to College Station and from Dallas to San Antonio.

Charles Hattenbach pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiracy to steal mail, bank fraud, theft of government property and three counts of aggravated identity theft. Kathryn Hubbert earlier pleaded guilty to conspiracy to steal mail, bank fraud, theft of government property and two counts of aggravated identity theft.

Hattenbach and Hubbert since December stole credit cards, checks, money orders, postage, gift cards and other valuables.

Both await sentencing and face up to 50 years in prison.
