3 suspects in custody after report of vehicle burglary

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Three suspects, including two juveniles, are in custody after a report of a vehicle burglary in progress at Savannah Oaks Apartments overnight.

Police responded to the call at 5204 50th Street at 1:22 a.m. Wednesday and began searching the parking lot.

They stopped a suspicious vehicle and three suspects fled on foot. Officers captured the suspects and took two of them to the Juvenile Detention Center.

The third suspect, 19-year-old Devonta Betts, was taken to the Lubbock County Detention Center, charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, evading on foot, and possession of marijuana.
