Crime Line tip leads to marijuana bust on 66th Street

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Crime Line tip led to a drug bust near Lowery Field on Friday.

The tipster reported an unusual amount of traffic at a home on Avenue O near 66th Street.

When officers responded, they found three and a half pounds of marijuana, along with packing material, and $1,800 in cash.

Joseph Davis, 32, and Rebecca Wendt, 24, are now facing charges for possession in a drug-free zone.
