BROWNFIELD, TX (KCBD) -

Shacolby Hill, 18, is one of four men currently behind bars after being arrested for possession of stolen firearms.

Brownfield residents Shacolby Hill, Kendrick Davis, Chris Davis and Dominic Fisher are all facing state jail felony charges for theft of a firearm. Fisher is charged with an additional third-degree felony charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Brownfield Police Chief Tony Serbantez says just after 5 a.m. on Sunday, a member of the Gaines County Sheriff's Department contacted the Brownfield Police Department asking for help finding a black 2010 Dodge Charger with four men inside that they thought were headed to Brownfield. The four men were wanted for questioning in relation to a shooting that took place in Seagraves around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

Seagraves Police Chief Neal Shaw says the shooting is still under investigation but confirmed that the four men from Brownfield went to Seagraves for a party and were asked to leave. He says they refused and a fist fight broke out. The men then went back to their car, and three of them grabbed guns and started shooting. He wouldn't specify which of the four men opened fire.

One man was shot and flown to UMC with critical injuries. Chief Shaw says he underwent surgery and is no longer in critical condition.

Shaw says the three shooters will be charged with attempted murder.

Police found the vehicle with the suspects inside in the 1200 block of N. A Street. They were found in possession of seven of 12 firearms that were reported stolen on July 21 from a home near the 1300 block of Cheryl Lane.

Brownfield residents were shocked and saddened by the news.

Eileen Garcia said, "I'm saddened by it and I'm saddened by their choices but we're just praying for everyone involved."

Joe Flores said, "It's unbelievable they would do something like that, especially when they had their whole lives to go to college and be somebody."

Bond for Hill, Kendrick Davis and Chris Davis was set at $5,000. Fisher's bond was set at $12,000.
