LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

It was Ladies Night at Jones AT&T stadium as Kliff Kingsbury held his Women’s Football Clinic.

As expected, the event was completely sold out. But some lucky female fans got an inside look at Texas Tech Football. They toured the facilities and went through drills on the field at Jones Stadium.

Every year, this event raises money for a worthy cause. This year it was for one of their own. Proceeds went to the fund for Jennie Bailey, who’s worked at Texas Tech for 28 years.

Jennie was moved by the gesture:

"It means the world to me, that they care enough to support someone on the inside. I'm here with kids I've raised, that I feel like I raised. Kliff, Eric and Mike and Kevin, all of them. This is my family," Bailey said.

Jennie says this event is good because it teaches women about Red Raider football and might help things at home.

"They're getting to see what it's like to be part of the football team. That probably helps them with their husbands. 'I know that!' or 'Look what I learned tonight!' We're all Red Raider fans."
