A unique tour working its way across the country stopped in Lubbock on Thursday night.
The "Mini Takes the States Tour" is a bi-annual event that features hundreds of Mini Coopers, and raises money for charity.
This year, drivers took off from San Francisco, and will end up in Boston.
They'll travel through 18 states and dozens of cities.
Participants stopped at the Stars and Stripes Drive-in for a break on Thursday.
"All I have to say, it's not only worth it, it's the best vacation I have. I wait every two years to do this."
"The best thing is, I travel for work a lot, this I get to stop and see a new city and have a new outlook on it."
Drivers will hit the road Friday morning.
They'll hold a rise and shine event at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.
They expect to leave at 7 a.m.
