Brenden Nosovitch returns to practice, but no word on potential transfer

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

South Carolina quarterback Brenden Nosovitch was spotted back at practice Friday morning after given Thursday off to mull over the decision of a possible transfer.

TheBigSpur says they received word Nosovitch was back at Williams-Brice Stadium around 8 a.m. A report from the blog on Wednesday night indicated Nosovitch was going to transfer.

Nosovitch, last year's third-string quarterback from Allentown, PA, played three games in 2013.

"I'll probably talk with him on the phone," Spurrier said following Thursday's practice. "He's got people obviously telling him he's a quarterback and he's struggling a little bit throwing the ball, but he's a heck of an athlete that can really play a lot of positions, but that's his decision."

Spurrier says he'd love to keep him on the team, but the Head Ball Coach will respect Nosovitch's decision and let him transfer anywhere.

"He can go anywhere he wants to go," said Spurrier.

    The Auburn baseball team was eliminated from the Southeastern Conference baseball tournament, falling to Arkansas 11-0 in seven innings at the Hoover Met Thursday.  The Razorbacks improved to 40-16 while the Tigers fell to 35-24.
