Three Red Raider baseball student-athletes earned a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University on Saturday afternoon as outfielder Devon Conley (University Studies), catcher Mason Randolph (Business) and Heath Herrington (Sports Science) all completed their degree programs.

Conley and Randolph finished their collegiate careers in 2014 while helping the Red Raiders to the College World Series. Conley played two seasons at Tech after transferring from New Mexico Junior College and Randolph was the lone four-year letterwinner on this past season's team. Herrington – who transferred from Cisco College following the 2012 season – received a medical redshirt in 2013 and competed as a redshirt junior in 2014.

Conley (Rio Rancho, N.M.) will go down in Texas Tech history as making perhaps the greatest play in school history while helping the Red Raiders to a Super Regional title over College of Charleston with a historic diving catch in right-center field to save a run and hold Tech's 1-0 lead late in game two of the best-of-three series. Tech ended up sweeping the Super Regional with a pair of 1-0 victories while advancing to the CWS for the first time in school history.

He played in 110 career games with 80 starts while batting .279 (90-for-323) with 55 runs, 10 doubles, three triples, one home run and 39 RBI with 20-of-21 stolen bases.

Randolph, a local product who graduated from Lubbock Coronado High School in 2010, battled injuries for most of his senior season while playing in 95 career games (73 starts) with a .246 (62-for-252) batting average with 44 runs, 14 doubles, a triple and four home runs with 35 RBI.

He batted .350 (7-for-20) during his senior campaign with three doubles, a triple and home run with seven RBI.

Herrington (Amarillo, Texas) played seven games (one start) as a position player for Tech in 2014 while also making one relief appearance – the first of his career against Texas (3/28). He received academic honor roll this past spring with Dean's List recognition tallying a grade-point-average above 3.5. He has received academic honor roll status in three of his four semesters at Tech.
