Lubbock Mustang Club to donate thousands from annual car show

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Hundreds of people headed out to Wayland Baptist University's Lubbock campus on Saturday to take a look at the 121 cars on display as part of the 32nd Annual Mustang Roundup and Car Show.

The show kicked off at 8 a.m. and lasted until 3 p.m.

"I'm excited that we are having beautiful weather for the car show today. Like I said, we plan a long time for this car show, so we are glad to be able to bring it to a close," Lubbock Mustang Club member Renee Brown said.

While walking away with a trophy is always nice, everyone can walk away knowing they contributed to a great cause.

Proceeds from the car show will fund scholarships to the university and other non-profit agencies in Lubbock.
