An American Airlines flight bound for Los Angeles from Orlando made an emergency landing in Lubbock Monday night.
The pilot reported engine trouble, and emergency crews were dispatched to the airport. Fortunately, the plane landed safely around 8 p.m.
An American Airlines representative tells us the flight diverted to Lubbock due to an engine vibration.
This was done out of an "abundance of caution." Six crew members and 175 passengers were on board.
