LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock fire officials say two juveniles are to blame for a fire that destroyed a pair of mobile homes on Tuesday night.

Fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire at 2506 Urbana Place around 7:30 p.m. Two mobile homes were burning when they arrived.

Lubbock Fire Rescue had the fire contained in about 40 minutes, but both homes were a total loss. Fortunately, the homes were vacant at the time of the fire.

Witnesses reported seeing two juveniles fleeing the scene. The two male juveniles were apprehended and confessed to starting the fire.

No injuries were reported.
