LPD releases surveillance video of McDonald's armed robbery suspects

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police have released surveillance video of two suspects who robbed McDonald's employees at gunpoint.

Police say just before 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, two men pulled up to the drive-thru window at the McDonald's in the 5000 block of I-27.

Police say one suspect waved a gun at the cashier and demanded money.

They say the cashier emptied the register and handed off the money and the suspects drove off.

Police say no one was injured.

Police say the suspects were driving a silver 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis.
