LEVELLAND, TX (KCBD) - A Levelland man reportedly fired a gun at his neighbor around 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
Anthony Flores was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bond was set at $50,000.
The neighbor called in the disturbance at the 1000 block of Ave B.
He told police that the man shot at him during an argument, then the shooter ran back into his house next door and locked himself inside. A woman was also said to be in the house at that time.
Officers made several attempts to contact the man, but received no response.
They called off-duty officers to secure a perimeter around the house and evacuated nearby residents. The Lubbock County Sheriff's office was called to assist and try to talk the man out of his home.
The woman came out of the house around 6:25 a.m. and surrendered to police. Flores came out a couple minutes later. He was arrested by Lubbock County Sheriff's Deputies and taken to the Hockley County Law Enforcement Center.
There were no reported injuries.
All involved parties were questioned on Saturday morning. The disturbance is still under investigation and no charges have been filed.
