LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two people have died after Lubbock police say a vehicle turned in front of a motorcycle on Sunday morning.

It happened around 8 a.m. on 82nd and Akron.

Police said 69-year-old Billy Dan Parker was taken to UMC with life threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Parker's passenger, 63-year-old Brenda Cox, died from her injuries later in the day.

Lubbock police say Parker was driving a motorcycle eastbound in the left lane of the 2600 block of 82nd Street.

That's when police say 34-year-old Leigh Anne Barnes, who was driving a 2010 Chevy Malibu, pulled in front of Parker to get into a parking lot.

Parker's motorcycle collided with Barnes' car.

Barnes suffered minor injuries.

Though the full scope of the investigation is not clear, the information requests make evident at least some of the areas that Mueller and his team of prosecutors intend to look into and also reveal a strong interest in certain of Trump's actions as president.
