Lubbock Fire Marshals arrest arson suspect

Late Friday night, Aug. 22, Fire Marshals arrested 34 year old Donovan H. Osby for first degree felony arson and false statement to a peace officer.

Osby suffered significant burns from last Tuesday's fire at 5027 27th Street and is charged with setting that fire.

The suspect is a former roommate and friend of the owner. A significant amount of forensic evidence is yet to be processed and additional arrests are pending the results of that testing.
