Light Up A Life Tree Project - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A special lighting ceremony was held Wednesday night in Lubbock.

Hundreds of lights glow on the tree high atop Plains Capital Bank, each represent a life someone on the South Plains wanted to memorialize this holiday season.

The "Light Up A Life" tree is a project of Hospice of Lubbock. Every dollar donated to light the tree goes toward the non-profit organization, which cares for the terminally ill.
