Department of Public Safety officials have identified a man who was killed after two 18-wheelers collided in Justiceburg Wednesday morning.
Officials say just before 10:30 a.m. a 2014 Peterbilt truck tractor carrying milk was making a U-turn onto Highway 84 in the Justiceburg church parking lot when it was hit by a 2006 Peterbilt truck tractor pulling a trailer loaded with produce.
Officials say 65-year-old Gary Sorrenson of Plainview was driving the semi carrying milk did not see the other 18-wheeler driven by 52-year-old Hilario Fuentes of Hereford, and the semi was T-boned killing Sorrenson.
Officials say Fuentes steered left in attempt to avoid the collision with Sorrenson.
Fuentes was treated and released for minor injuries.
