LP&L power outages reported in wake of afternoon storm

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

We're tracking LP&L power outages inside the Lubbock city limits.

As of 6 p.m., there are 104 outages reported, mostly in Central Lubbock inside the Loop.

You can check the latest conditions on LP&L's live outage map here: http://electric_outage.lpandl.com/

Remember, if your power is out, check to see if your neighbors have electricity, then call LP&L at 775-2555 to report the outage.

And stay away from any downed power lines; they are extremely dangerous.

If you see a damaged line, call 911 immediately.
