DPS Warns Against Drinking, Driving During Holidays

Drinking and driving this holiday season could land you behind bars.

Texas leads the nation in the number of drunk driving deaths, and DPS Troopers will be out in full force watching for drunk drivers. Penalties for a first-time DWI offense include driver's license suspension for up to a year, a $2,000 fine and as much as 6 months in jail.
