It's a date which will live in infamy. Sixty-three years ago, the Japanese attacked the U.S. at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.
On Tuesday, the Lubbock Lions Club paid tribute to Pearl Harbor and all World War II Veterans. Six Pearl Harbor Veterans from this area attended the program. "It was an undescribable day as far as I'm concerned. It was my first combat and I thank God for my survival." said John Roddy, a Pearl Harbor survivor from Snyder.
Roddy was stationed aboard the USS Tennessee.
