Fire Destroys Lubbock County Home - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Investigators say a fire that destroyed a Lubbock County couple's home started in the garage.

Roosevelt and Idalou Fire Departments were called to a home in the 5300 Block of East 6th Street around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon. Crews do not know what started the fire, but it's believed the car ignited first.

The couple that owned the home was able to escape without injury.
