Breast Cancer Drug Showing Positive Results

A new drug is showing better results at preventing the return of breast cancer than the drug currently used. Researchers say Arimidex could prevent the recurrence of 70% to 80% of the most common type of cancers that occur in women after menopause.

Tamoxifen has been the gold standard after surgery for patient's whose breast cancers depend on estrogen to grow.
