"America's Most Wanted" to Air Piece on Missing Lubbock Girl

Ten million viewers across the country will see 16-year-old Joanna Rogers on the television show "America's Most Wanted." Rogers was reported missing May 4th, 2004. The Lubbock County Sheriff's Department hasn't received any promising leads, but they hope the exposure will help.

On Saturday, December 11th, Americas Most Wanted will air a short 15 to 20 second piece on Joanna. The show has had a large impact since it started in 1988. It's helped find 46 missing persons and 816 fugitives.

The Sheriff's Department also received a tip in the investigation of Jennifer Wilkerson, who's been missing since July. Her investigating officer received a call Tuesday, December 7th. Based on information from that call they'll do another search at a few locations in Lubbock. Thursday, December 9th was Jennifer's 27th birthday.
