Collision Kills An Elderly Couple - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Two people are dead after a two car collision in west Lubbock around 7pm Thursday.

Witnesses say 87-year-old Jay Floyd Smith pulled out in front of a Suburban in the 6700 block of 19th Street. The collision killed both Floyd and his wife, 82-year-old Elizabeth.

Two people from the suburban were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
