Riot At Lubbock Night Club Sends Four To Jail

Four people were arrested early Sunday morning when a riot broke out outside a Lubbock night club.

Lubbock Police responded to shots fired at Static Nightclub around 2:45am. When officers arrived, several hundred people were fighting in the night club's parking lot. Police ordered everyone to stop fighting, but used tazers when the fighting continued.

Police arrested 18-year-old Jesse Jamar Baker for previous warrants and was charged with participating in a riot. During the riot Baker was bitten on the left thigh by a police dog. He was treated at University Medical Center before being transferred to the Lubbock County Jail.

23-year-old Jamall Willis, 18-year-old Misty Johnson, and 23-year-old Teronica Taylor were also arrested and charged with participating in the riot.
