Local Students Bake Treats For McDonald House

Students from one Lubbock elementary school brightened the Ronald McDonald house on Monday. A group from Ramirez Elementary made cookies and Christmas cards for the 17 families staying at the house.

The Ronald McDonald house serves as "a home away from home" for familes whose loved ones are undergoing treatment at Lubbock hospitals.
