It was an emotional day in a Lubbock Courtroom, where jurors saw graphic pictures of a man killed during an alleged street race.
Damien Rodriguez died three years ago, when Emmanuel Duran lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a house, ejecting Rodriguez from the car. Duran and his brother Isais were allegedly racing down University Street at the time.
Rodriguez left an infant daughter behind, and now Duran fears leaving his child behind. If convicted he faces two to twenty years in prison.
