Lubbock Jury Finds Duran Guilty Of Intoxicated Manslaughter

A Lubbock County Jury returned a guilty verdict against 25 year-old Emmanuel Duran late Thursday afternoon.

Duran and his brother were racing in October of 2001, when the two bumped cars. 21 year-old Damien Rodriguez died when he was ejected from Duran's car.

The punishment phase in his trial starts Friday. Duran faces 2 to 20 years in prison.
