Former TTU Employee Pleads Guilty To Money Laundering - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A former Texas Tech employee admits he defrauded the university of nearly half-a million dollars.

Thursday Aaron B. Shelley pleaded guilty to money laundering. The 37-year-old once handled sports nutrition for Tech athletes before he was fired in February. Investigators say Shelley over-billed the athletic department for nutritional supplements.

Shelley faces up to ten years in prison. A sentencing date has not been set.
