The South Plains Mall, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target and dozens of other stores across town were busy with people trying to find that perfect gift. And you can expect the rest of the week to be just as busy.

The mall has extended shopping hours through this week. The mall will be open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday. And then from 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Monday though Thursday. Then on Friday, the holiday shopping season will wrap up at 6pm on Christmas Eve. The mall will be closed Christmas Day.
