A Quiet Christmas Day Across Lubbock

After the hustle and bustle of last minute shopping on Christmas Eve, most stores across the Hub City are now empty. The mall parking lot, which was jam-packed with cars yesterday, is now deserted. And where it seemed like you couldn't even find a parking spot at all, front row parking is now available at Wal-mart. The only problem is...they're closed.

A few stores did open their doors to last minute shoppers on Christmas Day, especially for those picking up grocery items. The Albertson's across town were open Saturday, just in case you needed one more item for that dinner table, but they closed at 4pm.

However, there is one store in Lubbock that remains open this Christmas. The Walgreens at 50th & Slide is open and will remain open for the rest of the night.
