A 10-year-old Lubbock girl gave away something Tuesday she spent her whole life growing.

One year ago, Desirae Davis decided to donate her hair to locks of love. That's a group that makes wigs for people battling cancer. Tuesday afternoon, she cut her hair and gave it away. Locks of Love says the majority of their donors are kids hoping to help other kids.
