Amherst Teen Killed In Rollover

Funeral services are now scheduled for an Amherst teen who died Tuesday in a rollover.

DPS officials say 16-year-old Ashley Yarbrough drove off the road and overcorrected on County Road 2-72 in Lamb County. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car when it rolled. She died Tuesday night at UMC.

Ashley Yarbrough is the daughter of Lamb County District Attorney, Mark Yarbrough. Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:37, at First Baptist Church in Littlefield.
