If you travel in the north Lubbock area, there's a street you might want to avoid. A water leak caused a portion of Avenue U between the Clovis Highway and Cornell Avenue to cave-in on Wednesday.

Road crews are making repairs to the street, but it's expected to remain closed until Monday, January 3rd.
