City Warns Drivers About Central Lubbock Road Construction - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Get ready for some slow moving on a busy street. Road work will have a portion of Quaker Avenue closed for more than a month, starting Monday.

The Northbound lanes of Quaker Avenue between 19th and 24th Streets  will be closed for 45 days. So, traffic will be reduced to one lane going North and South during that time. The road work is due to pipeline relocation for the Marsha Sharp Freeway.
