Five Hospitalized Following West Lubbock Collision

Five people are hospitalized and a neighborhood lost power for a short time following a collision in West Lubbock.

The accident happened at the intersection of 34th and Inler around 5:30pm Tuesday afternoon. According to authorities one truck failed to yield to the other, causing the collision. Five people were transported to Lubbock hospitals. Their conditions and names have not been released.

A representative of South Plains Electric Co-op told NewsChannel 11 that power was restored to everyone in the neighborhood except for one home, but workers were at the site making repairs.
