The devastating headlines from Iraq turned into a reality for a Brownfield family this week. 34 year old Sgt. Steven Morin, Jr. died Wednesday when insurgents attacked his convoy. He was one of 15 U.S. soldiers the Department of Defense reported dead in Iraq this week. Morin, Jr. graduated from Brownfield High School and later from Texas Tech University.
