In the wake of last week's tragic plane crash, the loss of Dr. Rice, and the loss of our KCBD tower, I am moved by the outpouring and unyielding support of so many, including our viewers, the community, LISD-TV, Ramar, our Raycom family, and by the steadfast determination the entire KCBD staff displayed, as they tirelessly worked to keep us on air, despite the obstacles and tragedy faced.
Tough times don't last, but tough teams do. Nelson Mandela said it best: "The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."
I would like to thank LISD-TV for allowing us to use your facilities, Fox34 for helping us get our signal back up over the air to serve our viewers, our Raycom family for helping us live stream our newscasts and to our viewers, for your understanding and continued support.
Our thoughts and prayers are extended to Dr. Rice and his entire family for this tragic accident.
