A Lubbock man faces a four-count federal indictment after allegedly assaulting and pulling a gun on two police officers.
A federal grand jury indicted Richard Mendoza on Friday. Among his charges are possession with intent to distribute meth, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm while committing a drug trafficking crime. On that last charge alone, Mendoza faces up to life imprisonment.
