Breedlove Returns From Far Away Travels

Breedlove is back from Sri Lanka with good news to report. After a week of travelling throughout Southeast Asia, General Manager David Fish talks about his travels as well as how your "From Lubbock with Love" donations are going to work.

Over 400,000 Lubbock dollars are being spread all over Southeast Asia, and now there's pictures to prove it. David fish told NewsChannel 11 that the experience of hand-delivering food was one that will leave an impression on his life forever. "Knowing just days ago that there was a tremendous tragedy made it very emotional, it imprinted in my mind forever." Fish had the unique opportunity to meet the faces that Lubbock is helping to feed. "There was a huge appreciation for food."

This trip started off as an effort to give food and medical supplies, and has ended as a partnership between Breedlove and a nation-wide organization, Heart-to-Heart. "Barriers broke down and worked for the common cause," said Fish.

The business bond has given Breedlove a green light to send supplies into the country, and it has also given people from around the world a chance to experience a small taste of the love sent from Lubbock.

David Fish said that the people were apprehensive about the dehydrated soup, but after they tried it, they wanted more. Breedlove has already sent out one load, and they are planning on sending more, the next load going to Indonesia.
