Student Volunteers Teach Lubbock Children About MLK

Lubbock High School students captured Dr. Martin Luther King's spirit of citizenship Monday by volunteering at Erksine Early Learning Center.

Thirty students with the United Way Youth Division read books to 3 and 4-year olds, including a story about the life of Dr. King, called "Martin's Big Words."

100 copies of the book were given out to the children.
