The jaws of life were called out to a wreck involving a city of Lubbock waste truck Thursday morning.
The accident happened just before 10 am at the intersection of north Frankford and FM 1729. According to DPS troopers, the truck was carrying city waste water to the city sewage facility, when the driver took a turn too fast and the truck overturned.
The truck's driver, Johnnie Lavender, was taken to University Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
