New Addition To First United Methodist Church of Lubbock

A new year brings a new addition to First United Methodist Church of Lubbock.

Saturday the church held an open house for their new Christian Life Center, at 1411 Broadway. The center will be used as a recreational building, offering athletic activities, such as volleyball and ballet.

Another grand opening for the center will take place Sunday during scheduled worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Mayor Marc McDougal and other city dignitaries are expected to be there.
