Frenship Students Make Necklaces For Tsunami Victims

Two ambitious Frenship students are raising big bucks for tsunami victims.

7-year-old Cade Standlee is a second grader at Crestview Elementary. He and his sister are selling necklaces to benefit the "From Lubbock With Love" campaign.

Learn more about this million dollar effort to help the tsunami victims in Asia.

Cade says his mother came up with idea, but he and his sister are responsible for marketing their product. "My mom thought of the idea because all their homes are crashed and they need money to help, so she thought of buying those necklaces and so we made some money for them." Cade said.

So far, the Standlee's have raised more than $80 for tsunami relief.

Lubbock Agencies Accepting Donations For Tsunami Victims
You can drop a donation off at the Salvation Army's office or the American Red Cross in Lubbock.
