New Mexico Murder Suspect Arrested In Lubbock

A murder suspect wanted out of Hobbs, New Mexico has been captured here in Lubbock.

Authorities with the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office tell NewsChannel 11 Bobby Moralez is wanted in connection to the November 15th stabbing death of Juan Trujillo. Authorities say Moralez has been on the run since the stabbing occurred.

Authorities learned Moralez was heading to Lubbock, and a surveillance plane spotted his vehicle on the highway. Lubbock Authorities then trailed the vehicle as it traveled inside the city. After initiating a traffic stop at 50th Street and I-27, Moralez was taken into custody.
