Intoxication manslaughter, aggravated assault and injury to a child...those are the three counts 53-year-old Guadalupe Perez-Vargas will face when he goes to trial following his indictment by a Lubbock County Grand Jury on Tuesday.

The charges stem from a deadly traffic accident at North Loop 289 and Clovis Road back in November. Witnesses told police Perez-Vargas smashed his car into the back of another car, and then fled the scene.

Two-year-old Kaleb Travino was killed in the crash. Perez-Vargas was arrested in the area minutes later.
